Test Principle

The CRP Latex test is based on a latex agglutination reaction. Latex particles coated with specific anti-human CRP antibodies react with CRP present in the patient's serum. When CRP is present at or above the reagent's detection level, visible agglutination may occur. Semi-quantitative results can be obtained through appropriate dilution procedures according to the manufacturer's instructions.
